Our aim is to guide children to become effective learners through an environment that is rich, challenging and stimulating.

The Fun Stuff

Our Rooms

Nursery

Our Nursery provides your baby with a supportive, safe and nurturing environment. We cater for children from 6 weeks of age.

We offer a large indoor space, including two separate sleep rooms and the Nursey has their own outdoor play area.

Our qualified educators work in partnership with you to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met and catered for. We understand how hard it can be to start your child in care, we pride ourselves on being a support structure to you and your family during this time.

Our focus is to build trusting relationships with our children and to support this we run our Nursey with a “Primary Care” model. This provides the children with a sense of security and belonging enabling strong, meaningful relationships and bonds to form.

We find it important to share about your child’s day, including daily routine records, interests and experiences that have occurred during the day, so each child has their own communication book that these important things are documented in and are sent home daily.

Toddler 1

In the Toddler 1 room we believe that working collaboratively with families will enhance, nurture and encourage all aspects of your children’s individual development.

With an understanding that play is a vital part of children’s learning we feel it’s important to allow children the opportunity to explore in a safe and secure environment.

In the Toddler 1 Room we, provide a variety of learning experiences that are specifically designed around your child’s emerging interests and needs.

Our Indoor environment offers a variety of play spaces, including a quiet space for children to have down time, in this space children can read stories and relax on the pillow. The separate grassed outdoor area offers vast opportunities for children to engage in physical experiences and play with peers.

The Toddler 1 room runs an Indoor/Outdoor program that facilitates children to self-regulate and play where they feel most comfortable. We encourage children to learn via their senses, which see them exploring the outdoor environment hands on as they learn new textures.

Toddler 2

Within the Toddler 2 room children develop an interest in their world through many opportunities to explore and play.

We have experienced, qualified Educators who both support and implement fun, educational experiences based on each child as an individual.

We run a primary caregiving model to provide the children in our care with the benefit of more one on one interactions while promoting the children sense of agency where they feel safe, secure and supported when they come into the environment.

The Toddler 2 room encourages the children to be active participants in their own learning and provide the children with the tools and resources to support this in both the indoor and outdoor environments. Running an indoor\outdoor program within the room also fosters the children’s ability to self-regulate their own behaviours.

The Toddler 2 room also encourages all of the children to actively participate in caring for our environment and being a part of our sustainable practices.

Pre-Kindy

The Pre-Kindy room offers an indoor/outdoor program where children have the freedom to initiate where their learning takes place. We value the importance of learning through play, where children engage in all areas.

In the Pre-Kindy room, children learn and engage in self-help skills and experiences that promote and foster independence.

Children contribute and are an active part of the daily program. Our play spaces are created around the children’s interests and abilities, where they build friendships and develop a sense of belonging. Our program also incorporates sustainability practices allowing children to care for their world.

We welcome and value partnerships with our families, as your input assists us in making your child’s care experiences unique, happy and educational.

Pre-School

The Pre-School Room educates and cares for children aged 3 – 5 years. We provide a Pre-School program coordinated by our trained Early Childhood, with an aim of providing a successful transition to school.

Our educational curriculum is based on an image of a child as a capable, confident, individual and active learner.

We offer an indoor/outdoor play based program that encourages children to explore, challenge, investigate, questions and make decisions that will prepare children for lifelong learning. Our play spaces enchant and enrich children’s imagination, creativity and sense of wonder.
